Welcome to the on-line home of Port Nelson United Church in Burlington, Ontario, Canada! We hope the pages of this website will give you a taste of our caring, inclusive, Christian community. Having celebrated 60th years of faithful presence and witness in the Burlington community, we continue to journey forward in God´s presence as we reach out to one another and our world in a caring, inclusive, Christian community enriched by meaningful worship.
We express our searching and yearning for meaning in life in many ways. In our time, social networking and texting make conversation virtually instantaneous. Yet, as people of the Christian faith, we believe that God is present first and foremost in the flesh. We believe that the "Word becomes flesh" and lives among us. As a community, we invite you to join us "in the flesh" every Sunday morning at 10:30 AM for worship. Our growing and dynamic programs for children and youth also await you, as do many other opportunities to be a part of a caring, inclusive, Christian community. Explore the pages of this website to learn more. You will be welcomed warmly.
A special thank you to Claire Sweeny & Friends for their ´Music For Food´ concert in support of our Food Voucher program. Over $1,400 was raised. A few photos from the event are shown above. - Michael Brooks, Minister
